Sailfish OS Based Jolla Smartphone is Launched with Android Apps Support


The first smart phone by Jolla is launched officially in European countries. The phone is powered by Sailfish OS, truly open source and distinct mobile operating system. And it is also supports top android apps and their own apps and it is a gesture based operating system. The design is from Finland and The Sailfish OS is Nokia's MeeGo OS which is now its called as Sailfish OS, but the new company differently modified and to giving more technology to this operating system. Now it is big mobile operating system by comparing windows, android and ios. Now this Sailfish OS is developing by ex-workers of Nokia Finland.

Jolla is revealed their official specs. Jolla is screen with 4.5 inch IPS qHD display with protection from Coring Gorilla Glass 2. 8 MP AF camera with flash and 2 MP front camera. 1.4 GHz Dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 Krait processor. 16 GB internal storage, 1 GB RAM and micro SD slot. And it support networks likes 2G, 3G and 4G. It is priced only in euro 399.

The Jolla smart phone is now only available in European countries only and all me hoping it will soon releasing in more other countries including India. I will update soon when I get any news.
